How much time do I have to return a product to Bikerlab?

According to the provisions of the articles 52 et seq. Legislative Decree n. 21/2014, the consumer customer has the right to withdraw from the contract, without penalties and without the need to specify the reason, no later than fourteen (14) days from receipt of the goods (or, in the case of multiple goods ordered by a single order and delivered separately, from the day on which the Customer or a third party designated by him, other than the carrier, acquires physical possession of the last good).

 

How can I exercise the right of withdrawal for a product sold directly by Bikerlab?

For the purpose of exercising the right of withdrawal, the Customer must, before the expiry of the term referred to in the previous point, inform Bikerlab.com through the form on the contact page, specifying the order number, the list of items for which one is requires withdrawal and the reason.

Bikerlab will process the request and within 24-48 hours (in working days) it will reply to the customer via e-mail.

In case of exercise of the right of withdrawal, the Customer is required to return the goods received to the seller without undue delay and in any case within the fourteen (14) days following the date on which he communicated his decision to withdraw from the contract; the deadline is considered to be met if the Customer sends the goods back before the fourteen-day period expires.

The direct cost of returning the goods is charged to the Customer.

 

How to exercise the right of withdrawal for a product sold by other marketplace sellers?

First of all, check the conditions on withdrawal of the specific seller.

For the purposes of exercising the right of withdrawal, the Customer must, before the deadline expires, make a request via the form on the contact page, specifying the order number, the list of items for which withdrawal is requested and the reason.

Bikerlab will notify the supplier of the request, which will be processed as soon as possible. If all the conditions for withdrawal subsist, Bikerlab or the supplier itself will communicate the instructions for returning the product to the customer.

In case of exercise of the right of withdrawal, the Customer is required to return the goods received to the seller without undue delay and in any case within the fourteen (14) days following the date on which he communicated his decision to withdraw from the contract; the deadline is considered to be met if the Customer sends the goods back before the fourteen-day period expires.

In which cases can I exercise the right of withdrawal?

• The Customer is required to return the goods in an intact conservation condition and with original labels not removed.
• The packaging of the products must be accurate, in order to safeguard the original casings from damage, writing or labels.
• The consumer is responsible for reducing the value of the goods resulting from the handling of goods other than that necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the same.
• The right of withdrawal is the right of natural persons who act for purposes unrelated to their business, commercial, craft or professional activity (consumers). Therefore, resellers and companies are excluded from the right of withdrawal.
• The right of withdrawal is likewise excluded, pursuant to art. 59 Legislative Decree no. 21/2014, in the case of the supply of personalized goods (see above under paragraph 2), as well as of sealed goods that are not suitable for return due to hygienic reasons or connected to health protection and which have been opened after delivery.
• For products at discounted prices, subject to discount vouchers or promotions, no refunds are made but replacements are possible or the request for a voucher of value corresponding to the amount paid, to be used later.

 

How is the refund paid for a product sold directly by Bikerlab?

If the right of withdrawal has been exercised in accordance with the aforementioned provisions, Bikerlab.com will, within thirty (30) days of receipt of the withdrawal notice, return to the Customer all payments received by repayment, in relation to the order to which it refers the withdrawal itself, using the same means of payment used by the Customer for the initial transaction where this does not entail costs for the Customer following the reimbursement.

However, pursuant to art. 56, paragraph III, legislative decree n. 21/2014, Bikerlab.com has the right to withhold the reimbursement until the goods have been correctly sent and returned to the seller or until the Customer has demonstrated that he has sent back the goods, depending on which situation occurs first

Refunds or replacements will not be made on customized products at the express request of the customer (eg: products personalized with names and / or numbers, with patches, with initials, with the exception of defective or damaged products).
